Welcome to the 2015 SmashMouth NBA Pioneer League! Here's an update on league activities, results, winnings to-date:
So far, we've seen rousing 4-0 starts by ABCJZ (Chris Zeig) and ALDTYL6942 and an epic 1-3 fail by two-time consecutive and only SmashMouth NBA Champ DOUBLEA515 (Anthony Annese). Uneasy rests the crown, indeed!
Note, we had two last minute cancels so unless anyone can quickly find sub Coaches, we'll be a 14 coach league with two running bots for the duration. What this means is you'll likely get a W (or 2 if you're lucky enough to be in their division) but will be dq'ed each game from both Daily Smash and Unique Pick whenever you line up against the ghosts of Richard Bot and Jason ThalappaBot. Also note that any auto-picked players are also dq'ed from Unique Pick. Last, in the event of a tie for Unique Pick, the first tie-breaker is, did the Coach win? If yes, then UP goes to that Coach. Second tie-breaker is high point, third tie-breaker is greatest margin of victory (or least margin of defeat, as the case may be), fourth tie-breaker is... there is none so the reward is split 50/50.
Also, the prize pool is reduced by $200. Here is the payout:

Unique Pick (NBA player who wins head-to-head matchup by widest margin & picked by no other Coach... regardless of win or loss for Coach)
